The Body’s Wisdom: A Day of Mindful Presence and Inner Joy
Join us for a full-day mindfulness retreat in Copenhagen 🌸 This workshop is designed to help you reconnect with your body and find more inner peace and joy.
In a friendly and supportive environment, you and other women will learn how through mindfulness meditation you can:
- Reconnect with the body and the present moment: learn how mindfulness can bring wisdom and insight into your life.
- Recognize body sensations: understand and respond to pleasant and unpleasant sensations with kindness and compassion.
- Rediscover joy and pleasure: experience joy through mindfulness
This workshop is particularly suited for women who wish to experience more embodiment, inner peace and joy, and develop a kinder relationship with their bodies. All levels of meditation experiences are welcome 💖
The day will be filled with various mindfulness practices for you to try out, such as:
- Seated meditation
- Standing meditation
- Walking meditation
- Mindful eating
- Mindful movement
Each mindfulness practice will be fully guided and proceeded by a short introductory talk. There will also be ample opportunities for sharing experiences and asking questions.
Additional Information:
- Breaks: there will be several mindful breaks including a longer lunch break.
- Food and beverages: hot and cold beverages provided free-of-charge. Please bring your own snacks and food (only vegetarian food allowed in the studio but dining-out options available within a 10-minute walk)
- What to bring: appropriate clothing for the weather, a meditation cushion if preferred (yoga mats are available on the location)
- Note about the location: there is no wheelchair access in the yoga studio – please contact us if you need any other accommodations

Although meditation is completely safe for most people, for some folks practicing mindfulness meditation can trigger unpleasant symptoms like emotional overwhelm, physical pain or discomfort.
