Why join?

  • Do you feel a bit overwhelmed with the pace of life these days?
  • Do you find yourself constantly distracted by social media, news feeds, or your colleagues chatting behind your desk?
  • Do you have more trouble sleeping or feel more stressed than usual?

If so, you are not alone! It is the sign of our times – as we move faster and achieve more, running from one activity to another, our minds and bodies are simply not able to catch up… However, there is one time-tested tool that may help: mindfulness!

Mindfulness has been shown to provide a range of benefits – from improving physical and mental health, through reducing stress and anxiety – to improving focus and productivity. Most importantly both mindfulness meditation as well as mindfulness in daily lives can help individuals regain much needed balance, thus contributing to overall happiness and satisfaction in all areas of life.

Join this free online community to practice mindfulness meditation with others and connect with like-minded people in a friendly and supportive environment. Everyone is welcome!

What to expect?

After general welcome and introductions, we will spend 15-20 minutes meditating together. This will be typically a guided meditation with some minutes of silence for self-reflection. In the second half of the meeting we will simply have a friendly chat to get to know each other. You are most welcome to bring a snack or meal to enjoy while we are conversing 🙂

If you are considering joining but would like to get to know the host and listen to some guided meditations beforehand, you can visit my YouTube channel to learn more.

Disclaimer:

Although meditation is completely safe for most people, for some folks practicing mindfulness meditation can trigger unpleasant symptoms like emotional overwhelm, physical pain or discomfort.  If you have any concerns about this you are advised to check in with the host in advance for guidance.
